OBJECTI VES: At the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
- To examine the circumstances that led to the promulgation of new Road Traffic Act and Regulations and to review the provisions relevant to Parish Court Judges.
- To identify challenges that may be encountered in the trial and sentencing of cases under the new Road Traffic Act and Regulations and to highlight suitable solutions.
- To explore evidential issues and considerations pertaining generally to cybercrimes and to explore technology and computer generated evidence relevant to the road traffic offences and other offences within the jurisdiction of the Parish Court Judge.

Some work still needs to be done to perfect this piece of legislation. From a policy stand point this Act is needed however there are Issues such as jurisdiction and the completion of the regulations are still to be done.
